The Maldives Sports Corporation successfully concludes its Annual General Meeting 2020 held on Saturday, 28th August 2021 at 09:30 am in Housing Development Corporation Ltd. The Board of Directors, staff of SportsCo, official from Auditor General’s Office, and Ms. Mariyam Manarath Muneer, Senior Policy Director from Ministry of Finance as the proxy from the Government of Maldives, attended the meeting. 

The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Mohamed Nauf Nizar, Maldives Sports Corporation. The Chairperson opened the meeting by extending a warm welcome to all who joined the meeting. As stated in the Agenda, the Annual Report 2020, which includes the Director’s Report and the Audited Financial Statements for 2020, was approved. Furthermore, it was decided that external auditors will be appointed in an “Extra-Ordinary General Meeting” as per the circular received from Auditor General’s Office. The Annual Report of 2020 was published on 28th August 2021 on the Company’s website.
