Maldives Sports Corporation in collaboration with Malaysian Dodgeball Federation initiated to train Maldivians as Dodgeball Coaches. The training was held in Shah Alam, Malaysia from 10th – 11th February 2018. Total of 7 participant from Maldives was trained. The training involved theory and practical exam.
During the visit participants met with Dep. Tourism Minister of Malaysia and President of Malaysian Dodgeball Federation and discussed ways to promote Dodgeball in Maldives. Dodgeball is known to be one of the most popular sport in Maldives.
All 7 participants from Maldives successfully completed the two-day Level 1 Dodgeball Training course and were certified as professional Dodgeball Coaches.
