“Miles for Smiles” 24-hour charity run is organized by Maldives Sports Corporation to raise funds for vulnerable and marginalized groups within our community. This joint program between Ministry of Gender and Family, Ministry of Youth and Sports and Maldives Sports Corporation under “Let’s Play” campaign will focus on providing sports equipment and developing a well-rounded and sustainable sports programs.

A total revenue of MVR 333,737.00 was raised throughout the event. Maldives Sports Corporation donated a cheque of MVR 150,000 to Ministry of Gender and Family at an official ceremony held at Ministry of Gender and Family.

Along with Our lead athlete Ibrahim Saaid Ali, MPs, Government Organizations/Companies, NGOs and more than 2,500 participants took part in Miles for Smiles 24-hour Charity run support the cause.
